HO-LEE-COW!!! I will admit I was VERY skeptical about buying this mic...
I was astounded not only by the quality of the build of this mic, but the sound of it is on a par with the 103's I have used in my recording career. So glad to have a quality mike in my studio again! I had used an AKG 451 for decades, but this clone blows it away. The bottom end is very warm, midrange exceptionally clear and the high end crisp without being overly sibilant.

I asked the seller a million questions before I pulled the trigger on it. The mic showed up today and I tested it out. I literally did not have to touch the EQ in my DAW!! I have tried many microphones in my studio, the most recent being the Stellar X2...this mic blows them ALL out of the water!! I cannot believe I paid $120 for this mic!! trust me...BUY IT! I will be back for more! Thank you so much!!!

I WENT FROM RODE NT2 TO THIS ONE, BIG DIFFERENCE IN SOUND . SO CRISP AND CLEAR, IT IS MY GO-TO MIC FOR RECORDING.

Great mic. Its very close to the new TLM103's, Lacking a tiny bit of the umph in the low frequencies compared to the real one, but nothing that eq cant fix. Arrived in the UK in great condition, as described.

Great sounding Mic, it does have many characteristics of an U87, does have depth top shine and clarity, perhaps not the exact same low frequency response. Overall a great tool for any mic closet. You would probably need to spent 3 times as much for a comparable sounding mic.

Having used many TLM103's in studios I worked in as an engineer and a voice talent. This mic is the spitting' image of a "real" U87 and even has a recreated Neumann badge! The sound is totally awesome! Seriously! It would be an amazing buy at 4 times the price, but at under $150 it's a no-brainer to put it in your Mic closet. This will be my working mike acing out the AKG 451 and the Shure SM-7. WOW! WHAT A BUY!

The TLM103 clone PCB looks well built. The mic sound is gorgeous. Brilliantly bright, with a rich, smooth, bottom end. Very easy to work with. Liked it so much, I ordered a second one. A+++ Seller

The mic came packed well. The microphone I received was just as described and then some. Very smooth highs , nice tight low end. The grill is amazing, almost don't need a pop filter. Really smooth and musical mod range. Handles SPL and plosives super good. Really quite amazed at how expensive this mic sounds. tested for 3 days on various sources. does well on everything, exceptional on vocals and acoustic guitar. Really well done

Arrived right on time, super nice packing. Nice wooden box, and shock mount included. The mic may be a clone, but these guys also cloned everything including the great sound. I highly recommend this mic.

I must say, when I opened the mic up (tlm103) I had my doubts, all surface mount, But so is the Real One.. Sound is all that matters and the mic performs EXCELLENTLY! Makes whatever you put in front of it stand Forward from other instruments in the mix!!! Something I had trouble with before. I CANT WAIT TO ALSO TRY HIS u87 Clone!!!!! Also super fast and good communication! A+
